Samsung One UI 2.0 with Android Q coming soon

One UI from Samsung earlier this year was a pleasant shift from its Experience UI. One UI is more intuitive and made it’s debut on Galaxy S9, S9+ and Note 9 January year. Later the UI made it’s way to more affordable A series and even on budget oriented M series.

One UI 1.1 is based on Android Pie

Now there are reports claiming that One UI 2.0 will be based on upcoming Android 10 or Q and Samsung will roll it out soon. It is reported that new Android Q features will be added to One UI 2.0. The main highlight would be Digital Well-being which earlier was announced by Google in it’s Annual Developer Conference this May. There will also be a Focus Mode, it will allow to restrict Apps that are more or less useless to the user and other menu options improvements that made it’s way in Android Q.

Reports claim One UI 2.0 will be available after Android Q’s official release, there is little chance that it will be rolled out with  Galaxy Note 10 that is set to unveiled on August 10. It might later be available via an OTA update. One UI 2.1 will be rolling out next year with Samsung Galaxy S11 series.
